Jill Borin, Co-PI

Head of Archives & Distinctive Collections, Widener University

Jill Borin, the Head of Archives & Distinctive Collections at Widener University, has over 25 years of experience working in libraries and archives.  Jill received a BA in History “Phi Beta Kappa” from Muhlenberg College, a MA in History from the University of Delaware, and an MLIS from Rutgers University.

 

Tristan Dahn, Website Developer

Hidden Collections Processing Coordinator, University of Pennsylvania

Tristan Dahn is the Hidden Collections Processing Coordinator at the University of Pennsylvania. Dahn worked as the Systems Librarian at the Library Company of Philadelphia and also worked as the Digital Projects Librarian at the College of Physicians of Philadelphia.  He received a BA in Music from Bard College and a MLIS from McGill University.  In addition to website development, Dahn is a multi-instrumentalist and musical improvisor whose work can be found on Bandcamp.

 

Beth Lander, Project Manager

Managing Director, Philadelphia Area Consortium of Special Collections Libraries

Beth Lander is the Managing Director of the Philadelphia Area Consortium of Special Collections Libraries, Inc. (PACSCL). Lander obtained a B.A. in History from Drew University, an M.L.S. from the State University of New York at Albany, and a certification in Instructional Technology from Temple University. She has worked in various special collections settings within corporate records management, public library local history departments, and museum libraries/archives.

 

Chrissie Perella, Co-PI

Project Archivist, Drexel University College of Medicine Legacy Center

Chrissie Perella is a Project Archivist at Drexel University College of Medicine Legacy Center and was previously the Archivist at both Westtown School and The College of Physicians of Philadelphia. She has a B.A. in English and History from Millersville University, an MSLIS with a concentration in archival studies from Drexel University, a Digital Archives Specialist from the Society of American Archivists, and a Diploma in the History of Medicine from the Worshipful Society of Apothecaries. At the Legacy Center, Perella works on a variety of projects, from processing archival collections and institutional records, to assisting researchers and curating exhibits, to overseeing historical human remains. Out of work, she enjoys gardening and all things nerdy.
